PayPoint and Groupama Asigurari announce an agreement

PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania, announces a new partnership with one of the main players in the insurance industry. From now on, Groupama Insurance customers can pay their insurance premiums using their payment notifications inany one of the more than 11.000 PayPoint payment points anywhere in Romania. At the same time, agentsand members of Groupama’s salesforce can settle insurance premiums through the PayPoint network.

Making a payment is simple, secure and quick! The Groupama Insurance client or agent goes to the nearest PayPoint partner store with the payment notification or, respectively, with the unique agent identifier (reference), the attendant scans the document’s bar code, collects the money in cash and provides the client with a receipt issued by the terminal with all the details of the transaction. The method provided by PayPoint is extremely secure and quick, significantly reducing the time allotted to these payments.

This agreement adds to the portfolio of payments that can be made through PayPoint in convenience stores all over Romania. Along with paying Groupama Insurance premiums, consumers can use PayPoint terminals for paying the road tax, utility bills (electricity, gas, sanitation, water, etc.), mobile phone plans, internet or cable TV, security services, plane tickets, as well as buy mobile phone top-ups and even transfer money, both internally and internationally, at selected PayPoint locations.
