PayPoint Romania and Aquaserv Tirgu-Mures announce the signing of an agreement

Bucharest, 4 November 2016 – Aquaserv Tirgu-Mures’s customers can now pay their water bills quickly and easily in over 330 PayPoint store across the county. This has been facilitated by the signing of an agreement between PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania and Aquaserv SA Tirgu-Mures, the water and sewerage services provider in the Mures County.

To pay a bill, Aquaserv Tirgu-Mures customers simply go to their nearest yellow-branded PayPoint store with their bill and mention what type of payment they wish to make. The retailer will scan the barcode on the bill, take payment in cash and issue the customer with a receipt. Customers do not have to pay any additional fees or shop at the store to use PayPoint.

The service is aimed at consumers served by Aquaserv SA from Tirgu-Mures, Reghin, Sighisoara, Tarnaveni, Ludus, Iernut, Cristuru Secuiesc as well as 80 other rural communities from Mures, Harghita and Bistrita Nasaud counties.

As well as paying water and sewerage bills, customers can use PayPoint to pay utility bills (gas, sanitation, etc.), mobile phone plans, internet or cable TV, security services, plane tickets and road tax, as well as buy mobile phone top-ups and even transfer money, both internally and internationally, at selected PayPoint locations.
