Hargaz can now be paid through the PayPoint retail network bills in Romania

Bucharest, 30 January 2012 – PayPoint Romania, one of the main cash payment operators in Romania, has announced that it has signed a new agreement for bill collection with Hargaz, a licensed operator for natural gas supply and distribution in Harghita county.

Starting this month, this new service opens up a new simple, safe and modern channel for Hargaz customers to pay their bills at no additional cost in PayPoint branded convenience stores. Customers simply hand the bill to the retailer along with the payment in cash and the retailer does the rest, with the customer receiving a receipt for every payment made.

"Our partnership with Hargaz strengthens our position as a national network where gas bills can be paid in cash quickly, easily and at no additional cost to the customer,” said Mugur Dogariu, Managing Director of PayPoint Romania. “This new contract is part of PayPoint’s strategy to build an extensive portfolio of clients across a diverse range of market sectors, enabling customers to pay the widest range of bills through PayPoint terminals.”

The PayPoint service is a quick, simple and safe way for customers to pay their bills while shopping, through any of the 6,500 retailers in PayPoint Romania’s nationwide retail network. Consumers can find their nearest PayPoint locations on the company’s website, www.paypoint.com/romania.
