PayPoint Romania and ERB RETAIL SERVICES announce agreement

Bucharest, 13 July 2016 – PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania, is announcing the launch of a new partnership in the financial services industry with ERB RETAIL SERVICES, one of the top three consumer lenders in Romania. People with consumer loans issued by ERB RETAIL SERVICES will be able to pay their instalments quickly and securely through PayPoint’s payment points country-wide.  

PayPoint is supplying a simple, secure and quick method of repaying loans issued by ERB RETAIL SERVICES, irrespective of whether those were obtained in a store, online or through the EuroLine credit card. To make a payment, a consumer must simply take their statement to the nearest PayPoint store where the attendant will scan the bar code and input the amount they wish to pay into the terminal. The consumer then pays in cash and receives a receipt with all the details of the transaction. The whole operation takes very little time and access to the system does not require paying a fee or buying anything from the store.

Along with repaying loans issued by ERB RETAIL SERVICES, customers can also use PayPoint terminals for paying utility bills (gas, sanitation, water etc.), mobile phone plans, internet or cable TV, security services, plane tickets and road tax, as well as buy mobile phone top-ups and even transfer money, both internally and internationally, at selected PayPoint locations.
