PayPoint Romania and good.bee Credit announce new agreement

Bucharest, 27 January 2016 - PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania and good.bee Credit IFN one of Romania’s most important non-banking financial institutions for micro-financing, part of Erste Group, are announcing an agreement for the collection of loan repayment instalments. From now on, loans issued by good.bee Credit IFN can be repaid in cash, in a quick, secure and simple method, through PayPoint’s network of payment points, in convenience stores with long hours throughout the country.

There are no fees for the service, which is aimed at good.bee Credit’s customers all over Romania, small entrepreneurs from rural areas and small towns. The loans that can now be repaid through PayPoint’s network are created and adapted to the needs of each client, from the perspective of the costs as well as the benefits and they fall under three main categories: working capital, investments and refinancing loans.

To make a payment, customers must simply go to the nearest PayPoint store with their bar-coded repayment schedule and mention the amount they wish to pay. After the payment is made, in cash, the customers receive a receipt with all the details of the transaction (date, amount etc.). The whole operation is very quick, considerably reducing the time required for making payments of any kind.

“We’re very happy to announce a new partner in the financial services industry at the beginning of the year. The majority of good.bee Credit’s customers are entrepreneurs, a segment for whom time is the most important resource; they will surely appreciate that from now on, the issue of repaying their loans will also be solved with a single trip to their nearest PayPoint store. In this context, we’re counting on our network’s coverage and quality: PayPoint stores are always where our customers need to make quick and secure payments and this will have a decisive contribution to the success of the agreement”, said Mugur Dogariu, Managing Director, PayPoint Romania.
